Sleeping in the terminal - opening hours
The public area of East Midlands Terminal is open 24/7. You can go through security as late as 4:00am.
Staying overnight at East Midlands Airport is not convenient. The public section is relatively small and seats are only available in very limited numbers in the check-in counters.
You won't find many nooks and crannies where you won't be disturbed by light and noise.

The Holiday Inn Express and Radisson Blu hotels can be reached on foot in 15-20 minutes. You can also use the regular bus line to the "Pegasus Bussines Park" stop.
From the airport you can take buses to the hotels from Leicester, Loughborough, EM Gateway and Nottingham (express services only). Tickets cost 2 gbp and buses run 24/7 (once every 5-20 minutes on average).
