Find out what services and facilities are available at Dresden Airport. Where is the best place to eat and where to shop?
Cheap hotels near Dresden Airport
Internet and wi-fi
Free wi-fi is available for 2 hours, after which it will automatically disconnect, but you can log in again for another 2 hours.
If you use a sim card from an EU country, you can make calls and use data in Germany at the same prices as in your home country.
Otherwise, get your data e-sim quickly and easily at airalo.com.
Luggage storage
Baggage storage is in the form of self-service boxes in the car park area on level 00. You can store your luggage according to the size of the box used for 24 hours at 2 eur to 4 eur.
Travelling with children
The airport is very well prepared and equipped for children. You will find play areas before and after security, for which baby airport strollers are also available. All free of charge, of course.
Shops and supermarket
The airport is rather poorly equipped with shops. You won't find a classic supermarket or mini-market with groceries.
There are two souvenir shops and, after security check, a duty free shop.
Restaurants
In the public area of the airport you will find a café, a bakery and a bar with light snacks and hot food.
After security, only small snacks are available. Please note that most restaurants don't open until around 7am, so bring snacks from home for the first departures.
ATMs and exchange offices
There is no exchange office at the airport.
There are ATMs in the public area of the arrivals hall of two common German banks:
- Postbank
- Sparkasse
Observation deck
In the public area of the main terminal, you can visit the terrace overlooking the apron and runway free of charge.

Hi, I know there is a travel agency right at the airport that offers very good last-minute tours. I've heard about it from a few people. Does anyone happen to know the name of this travel agency or possibly its website? Thank you!
Do you believe in devils, too? As I recall, they have Alltours and Schauinsland and then some travel agencies. But you can't buy ANYTHING there other than on any travel website, just like you can't buy anything in Cedok in Ruzyně other than what is hanging on its website (and consequently here)...
Thank you. Thank you. I don't believe in devils anymore and I don't expect anything other than what they have online. I just want to know in advance so I don't go there unnecessarily.
Interesting hobby. Buying a last minute tour directly at the airport. And you're just gonna get there with your suitcase?
Otherwise, that worked 30 years ago, now everything's online.
I'm not expecting anything other than what's online, but I'm asking so I don't go there unnecessarily :-).
I guess this is in the same ballpark as Pegasus 100% cancelling my return flight if I don't board my flight there, or Wizz paying 600 ecus as compensation on a flight to England, and that's just in the last few days. In my village, we politely refer to such things as "mischief". But David is glad that at least someone contributes here 😂 As long as it's alive 👍
Somehow the exit didn't go well.
