About 3.5 km south of Ermupoli, the largest town on the Greek island of Syros, there is a small regional airport.
Although the airport terminal is only as big as a regular family villa, it serves as the island's main link to the outside world, and most tourists arrive on Syros by plane.
There are currently no international flights to Skyros Airport, even in the summer season. There are only two regular routes to the Greek mainland:
- Athens - buy tickets for skyexpress.gr
You can walk across the terminal in less than a minute and you'll be fine if you arrive 60 minutes early for your departure.
