Baiyun Airport in Guangzhou, South China is located 40 km north of the city centre and is the largest base for China Southern Airlines.

Guangzhou Airport is one of the world's fastest growing airports and is currently ranked 11th in the world's busiest airports. Guangzhou Airport is also the largest in China in terms of passenger traffic.

Direct flights go to more than 200 destinations. The vast majority of traffic is to Chinese destinations, but Guangzhou is also a major international hub with direct flights to the whole of Asia, many cities in Australia and New Zealand and Europe.

There are also flights from Katonah to Africa (such as Cairo, Addis Ababa and Nairobi) and the USA (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco).
