Lira/VB Transportes bus
Direct connections are provided by Lira buses in collaboration with VB Transportes.
The buses only go to the main bus station Tiete, where you change to line 1 of the Sao Paulo metro in the direction of the centre (for example, Luz, Sé or Paraíso stations).
You can buy your ticket at the station kiosk or from the conductor. You can pay by card or cash (Brazilian real only).

Buses on Azul airlines
Azul Airlines operates its own buses, which are free of charge for passengers upon presentation of a boarding pass (arrival and departure).
However, from 2024, the buses do not go to the central bus station of Barra Funda, but only to the airport Congonhas CGH on the southern outskirts of Sao Paulo.

Taxi/Uber
Due to the 100km distance, a taxi is the most expensive option, however if you are travelling with at least 3 people it will only be about 2x more expensive than a bus.
Regular official taxis offer a ride for prices around 350 brl.
Significantly cheaper can be the mobile app Uber, which operates in both Campinas and Sao Paulo, and to the centre the average price is around 250 brl.

There are several local public transport lines to the nearest big city, Campinas.
Buses
