Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport in a nutshell

Romania's largest airport, officially known as "Henri Coanda Aeroportul", is the main base for national carrier TAROM and one of the largest bases for low-cost carrier Wizz Air.
Most European airlines operate flights to Bucharest to many destinations across the continent. Tickets outside Europe, especially towards Asia and Australia, can be purchased, for example, via qatarairways.com.
The airport terminal is about 19 km north of the city centre.
