The terminal is served by a special A1 airport bus to the centre of Brasov and the main train station.
Car rentals or taxis are also available.
Bus
The A1 line runs from the airport first to the centre (Livada Postei stop) and then to the final station, Gara Brasov (railway station).
The bus runs once an hour from 6:00 am to 7:20 pm and the exact timetable can be found on the website: ratbv.ro/afisaje/A1. To see the departure times, click on the name of the stop.
The journey time to the centre is approximately 20 minutes.
Tickets can be purchased in several different ways.
- Per 4 ron With your own credit card (just attach it to the reader inside the bus), but only some new buses have this option. The fare is valid for 60 minutes for all lines in Brasov and if you change buses during this time you will have to reattach your card to the reader, but no additional money will be taken.
- From the driver for 10 ron A carnet of two paper tickets valid for 60 minutes. You must mark the ticket in the validator after purchase.
- Per 4 ron A 60-minute fare via the 24Pay mobile app - Google Play / App Store.

Taxi, Uber, Bolt
Regular taxis are not recommended for tourists to use in Brasov, as local taxi drivers do not drive by meter and can charge more than 150 ron, which is a price completely out of reality.
We recommend using the mobile apps Uber or Bolt, which operate in Brasov. Depending on current demand, the price to the city centre is between 32 ron and 45 ron.
Ideally compare the price on Bolt and Uber, as each app uses a different algorithm and the price can vary by more than 15 lei.
Rent a car
If you're heading from the airport not to the centre of Brasov, where a car would be a pain, but to the Romanian countryside or the mountains, there are plenty of local and international car rental companies in the terminal.
