In connection with the opening of the new Berlin-Brandenburg Airport , Tegel Airport will be permanently closed to scheduled operations in November 2020.
Currently, Tegel is listed as Berlin's main airport, but this is expected to change in the near future with the opening of Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. At first glance, the airport is outdated and congested, but on the other hand, the individual terminals are compact and small in area, so that the check-in process is relatively quick.
Only Terminal A is open all night, the others are closed between midnight and 3:30am.
