Bastia-Poretta is one of the four international airports in Corsica, located in the northern part of the island 20 km south of Bastia.
The small modern terminal is mainly used by summer seasonal flights from Western Europe and France. During the winter there are few connections to Paris, Marseille, Nice or Lyon.
Bastia Airport is the most common way to get relatively cheap flights from European destinations outside France. Other Corsican airports such as Ajaccio, Calvi or Figari are generally more expensive.
