Find out what services and facilities are available at Bali Denpasar Airport. Where is the best place to eat and where to shop?
Internet and wi-fi
There is a free wi-fi network at the airport @NgurahRaiAirport, which is overloaded most of the time and doesn't work at all on arrivals. More secure is your own simcard with prepaid data and internet.
Don't delay buying a physical sim card upon arrival. Get an Indonesian data e-sim quickly and easily at airalo.com.
Luggage storage
Luggage storage can be found outside the international terminal.
After exiting the arrivals hall, turn right and after about 100 metres you will come across a stand marked "Lockers".
You must present your passport and boarding pass or ticket at check-in, even if you check in your baggage after arrival.
Opening hours are 24/7 and you pay for 24 hours of storage 50 000 idr.
Shops and supermarket
The domestic and international terminals are well equipped with all kinds of shops.
Duty free shops and shops selling luxury fashion brands or jewellery predominate in the international terminal. In the domestic terminal you will find more local fashion shops.
At the airport, you can buy takeaway food in many mini-markets:
- Circle K - international terminal, departures, public area,
- Circle K - International Terminal, Arrivals, Public Area
- WHSmith - International Terminal, transit area
- PapiMart - domestic terminal, arrivals, public area
- PapiMart - international terminal, arrivals, public area
- Indomarket - domestic terminal, arrivals, public area
In the public area of the domestic terminal, on the departures floor, you can also use the pharmacy services.
Restaurant
Dining options are expanded in both terminals, especially after security checks. However, smaller cafés are also available in the arrivals halls.
In addition to local restaurants with typical Indonesian cuisine, you can also take advantage of well-known fast-food outlets and cafés such as Starbucks or Pizza Hut.
A list of all shops and restaurants can be found on the airport website: bali-airport.com/en/shop-dine.
ATMs and currency exchange offices
Only change the necessary amount of money in the arrivals hall for the first few days of your stay - exchange offices here have unfavourable rates. Beware of street currency exchange, which should be avoided to be on the safe side.
ATMs at local banks, which accept international cards without any problems, are a convenient option. ATMs are located in the arrival halls of both the domestic and international terminals.
Drinking water
There is a hot and cold water dispenser in the international terminal immediately after security (between departure gates 1 and 2). You can draw your own empty bottle of water here free of charge.
Smoking rooms
An outdoor smoking terrace is also available after security in both terminals.
- International Terminal - 2nd Floor
- Domestic Terminal - 3rd Floor
Showers
Public showers are not available in the terminal. The only options are showers in some of the premium lounges or massage centres, where you can of course take a shower after your massage.
However, no spa will offer a shower only option without a massage.
