Internet and wi-fi

Wifi internet access is available free of charge and without time limit. Connect to the "Baku-Airport-Free-WiFi" network.

Don't delay buying a physical sim card upon arrival. Get a simple and fast Azerbaijani data e-sim on the web airalo.com.

Shops and supermarket

The regular grocery store at the airport does not work. There is also no pharmacy.

Shopping options are only available in Terminal 1, while you won't find any shops in Terminal 2.

The shops are almost all after security check and are mostly boutiques with luxury fashion or duty free shops.

Dining options

Cafes and restaurants are plentiful in both terminals.

Due to the heavy flight traffic even during night hours, the vast majority of restaurants are open 24/7.

Well-known businesses such as McDonald's can be found in the public area of Terminal 1.

There are plenty of dining options in both the public and transit areas, but expect to pay up to several times the prices of regular restaurants in the city.

ATMs and exchange offices

There are plenty of currency exchange offices in both terminals with fairly decent rates. Check multiple branches, rates may vary slightly. Also, refuse to exchange if the exchange office only wants to give you 100 manat notes, which virtually no one in Azerbaijan accepts.

ATMs from two local banks can be found in two locations in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, always in the arrivals halls.

Luggage storage

Baggage storage is not available at Baku Airport.

Showers

Public showers are not available in either terminal.

Drinking water

Fountains with free cold drinking water are located after security in both terminals. The fountains are for direct drinking, however you can also fill a small bottle from the tap.

Smoking rooms

Small ventilated smoking booths are located in the transit area of both terminals.
