Internet and wi-fi
Unlimited free wi-fi is available throughout the airport. Connect to the "AIRPORT" network.
If you use a sim card from an EU country, you can call and use data in Norway at the same prices as in your home country, even though Norway is not a member of the EU.

Restaurants and shops
There are no shops or restaurants in the public area of the terminal.
After the security check in the departure gate area you can use the Point Kiosk mini-market with a good selection of takeaway snacks. The snack shop is open weekdays 6:00-18:00, Sunday 10:00-18:30 and closed on Saturdays.
If you drive straight from the airport, there are two supermarkets nearby:
- Extra Elvebakken (Monday to Saturday 7:00-23:00, closed on Sundays) - 1.5 km to the east
- Europris Alta (Monday to Friday 9:00-20:00, Saturday until 18:00, closed on Sunday) - 850 metres towards the centre of Alta
Vending machines
In the public area you will find several vending machines for drinks or sweets, where you can buy a quick snack on arrival.
ATMs
In the public area you will find one Minibank ATM with charges of around 50 nok per withdrawal.
However, you probably won't need cash anywhere in Norway. Cards are accepted for payment everywhere, including rural restaurants and snack stands.
Luggage storage and other services
Alta Airport does not currently operate a baggage room.
Due to the size of the airport, services are very limited and only include airline or car rental information desks.
