Cala Brandinchi

For air travel to Sardinia, you will need to use one of the local airports. To give you an overview, we've compiled some handy tips, including transport from them to specific resorts. And which airports to fly to in Sardinia? There are 3 international ones, namely Olbia, Alghero and Cagliari.

Olbia Airport

The northernmost airport, Olbia OLB, offers direct connections from Vienna with Wizz Air, for example, or, as standard, many airlines including Smart Wings, which operates flights for travel agents. Details on flights, car hire and especially transport can be found under the link in the airport name.

Alghero Airport

Just 135km from Olbia is Sicily's second airport, Alghero AHO. This is where most of the flights from central Europe are heading. Mainly from Slovakia Ryanair and Poland Ryanair and Wizz Air. You can find out where else and what airlines fly here from in the guide hidden under the name of the airport.

Cagliari Airport

In the very south of the island you will find Cagliari CAG airport. The airline Volotea also flies here directly from Prague. Find transport or flight tips in the guide under the link.
