Norwegian airline Widerøe is the largest regional airline in Scandinavia with a very extensive network throughout Norway from the south to the northernmost part near the border with Russia.
They even provide basic transport services to some communities, as it would be very difficult and time-consuming for locals to reach the world other than by plane.
Widerøe operates a fleet of around 50 aircraft. On short routes to very small airports, Dash-8 turboprops are used. For international and frequent domestic flights, the airline deploys modern Embraer E190 aircraft.
