Volotea charges 10 eur to 30 eur to print your boarding pass at the airport. You can generate your boarding pass for free during online check-in.

Check-in at the airport

If you arrive at the airport without a boarding pass, you will have to check in at the counter, which will cost you 30 eur.

In case you do not want to use mobile check-in and you do not have the possibility to print your boarding pass in advance, you can purchase a pre-printed boarding pass at the airport at a discounted price in the "Your Booking" section of volotea.com - in this case you will only pay 10 eur.

You also need online check-in if you purchase checked baggage with your ticket. You must present your boarding pass at the check-in desk to check in your baggage, otherwise you will not avoid the €30 fee.

Online check-in

Online check-in is available free of charge between 4 days and 2.5 hours before departure.

Check-in can also be done via the Volotea mobile app, where you can then present your boarding pass on your phone display in the form of a QR barcode at the airport.

You can also check in on a traditional computer and on the volotea.com website. In this case, you will need to print your boarding pass at home or open a pdf file with the barcode in an email and scan it at the airport.

Choosing a seat (seating)

Volotea charges a fee for selecting a specific seat 12 eur to 20 eur. If you refuse, you will be randomly assigned a seat for free.

When travelling with more than one person, Volotea will always deliberately seat you if you have your seat randomly assigned.
