The rapidly expanding Vietnam Airlines is the country's largest and main airline with two major hubs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. While airlines play a relatively significant role in Vietnam's economic growth, the equation works the other way around, with aviation development experiencing a boom in recent years.
The fleet is modern, consisting of Airbus A321, A330, Boeing 777 and two of the newest types, the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350. The aircraft are easily recognisable by their all blue fuselage and the lotus flower on the rudder.
