Ural Airlines is a major Russian airline with main bases at Ekaterinburg and Moscow Domodedovo airports. Ural Airlines operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320/A321 aircraft, around 50 in total. The company is a major player in the domestic Russian market, but also operates several international services.
Be careful when making an international connection at Moscow-Zhukovsky Airport (ZIA). Ural Airlines often offers cheap fares to Central Asia, however Zhukovsky Airport does not have international transit space, so you will need to arrange a Russian visa in advance. You do not need a visa when connecting at airports in Yekaterinburg or Domodedovo, where Ural Airlines also has bases.
