Check-in at the airport counter is free of charge for Rex Airlines.

The counter usually opens 2 hours before departure and closes 30 minutes before departure.

At some very small airports, check-in may open less than 2 hours before departure.

Which terminals are used for check-in?

Large Australian airports usually have multiple terminals. Rex Airlines uses the following buildings:

• Sydney - Terminal 3
• Melbourne - Terminal 4
• Perth - Terminal 2
• Brisbane - Terminal 2

Online check-in

You can check-in online in the comfort of your own home 48 hours to 1 hour before departure via webcheck.rex.com.au.

If you are travelling with hand luggage only, you do not need to visit the airport counter at all. Proceed straight to the security checkpoint.

Selecting your seat (seating)

Want to sit by the window and enjoy the view on low-flying short flights?

Selecting a specific seat is charged with your ticket on the lowest "Promo" fare 6 aud. On other fares it is free.

If you do not choose a seat, you will be assigned a random seat for free.
