You can normally check in for free at the airport counter. Online check-in via the mobile app is also available.

Check-in at the airport

GOL allows you to check in at the airport without a fee.

Check-in desks open normally 2 hours before domestic departures and 3 hours before international departures.

The latest check-in time is normally 60 minutes for international flights and 40 minutes for domestic flights.

Online check-in

Online check-in is available 48 - 1 hour before departure, you can print your boarding pass at home or at the self-service kiosk at the airport. If you have luggage, use the express "Baggage drop-off" counter.

You can check in via mobile phone by downloading the GOL app. You don't need to print your boarding pass at all, just scan the QR code at the airport.

For flights to/from the USA, online check-in is available 24 hours before departure.

Seat selection (seating)

If you purchase the cheapest "Promo" or "Light" fares, you can choose your seat on the aircraft for a fee 10 usd to 20 usd depending on the length of your route.

On the "Max" and "Plus" fares, the selection of a specific seat is free of charge.

If you do not want to pay for a specific seat, you will be assigned a random seat for free.
