Firefly is one of the carriers that allow free check-in at the airport.

Check-in at the airport

Check-in at the airport counter is free of charge for Firefly.

You can always check in 120 - 45 minutes before departure, however, at Kuala Lumpur's main airports the counter can open up to 3 hours before departure.

If you're not travelling with checked baggage, most Malaysian airports also have self-service kiosks where you can print your own boarding pass.

Online check-in

You can check in online at booking.fireflyz.com.my/webcheckin.

You can checkin online 7 days - 1 hour before your flight.

Mobile check-in is the most common method. Online check-in is only possible via the Firefly mobile app (Google Play / App Store), where you enter your booking number and present a QR code on your mobile phone at the airport.

Seat selection (seating)

If you have a ticket on the lowest Saver fare, you can choose your specific seat on the plane for a fee starting at approx. 31 myr.

If you don't choose a seat, you will be randomly assigned one for free.

If you are travelling with children, you will be seated together even if randomly assigned.

Seat selection on all other fares is free.
