Check-in at the airport

China Southern Airlines allows you to check in at the airport without a fee.

Check-in counters open normally 2-3 hours before domestic departures and 3-4 hours before international departures.

The latest check-in time is normally 60 minutes for international flights and 30 minutes for domestic flights.

Online check-in

You can check in online from 15:00 two days before departure as standard.

If you are unable to check in online, you can check in at the airport without any problems.

Seat selection (seating)

You can select your seat on the aircraft free of charge when you buy your ticket or later on the China Southern Airlines website (Manage my bookings section).
