Hand luggage

You can take 1 piece of luggage measuring 55 x 40 x 23 cm on board free of charge. Business class passengers can take 2 pieces of hand luggage.

In addition to your standard cabin baggage, you can take 1 personal item up to a maximum size of 40 x 30 x 10 cm free of charge.

The total weight of both items must not exceed 8 kg.

Checked baggage

Checked baggage is not included in the cheapest Economy Light fare on any routes.

If you want to travel with checked-in baggage, you can also choose the more expensive Economy Basic fare, which already includes checked-in baggage up to 23 kg.

The difference in price between the "Light" and "Basic" fares is always the same as if you had purchased the luggage separately on the "Light" fare. However, the Basic fare is preferable because it includes (for a fee) the option to change flights.

On long-haul routes, the Basic fare with checked baggage costs about 70 eur more than the Light fare without baggage, while on routes within Europe the price is 30 eur higher.

Detailed information on baggage can be found at brusselsairlines.com/checked-baggage.

Strollers and luggage for children

Children under 2 years old are not entitled to any hand luggage or checked baggage, but you can take a bag with baby food on board free of charge.

Strollers are always carried free of charge.
