Air Arabia always offers free hand luggage and checked baggage for a modest fee. Please see below for details.

Carry-on baggage

Each passenger is allowed to take 1 piece of hand luggage, with the following maximum dimensions:

  • 55 x 40 x 20 cm and 10 kg.

Dimensions include wheels or handles of the suitcase. This baggage allowance applies to passengers on Basic, Value or Extra fares.

On some flights, an ultra-low cost Lite fare may also be available, which includes carrying only luggage that fits under the seat below you. Such luggage must be no larger than 40 x 30 x 15 cm. However, you won't see much of the Lite fare.

A fee of 75 eur is charged if you have larger luggage that does not meet the above dimensions.

Checked baggage

Air Arabia will offer plenty of options regarding checked baggage, even though there is no free baggage included in the ticket price.

In fact, for a very small fee you can get the option to carry up to 2 pieces of luggage. The prices are as follows:

You can also find these prices on the airlines' websites. However, specific amounts may vary by route by plus or minus a few percent. You can get the final price when you purchase your tickets or at check-in.

Baggage may weigh a maximum of 32 kg and must not exceed 160 cm in size (length x height x depth).

From 1 August 2023, the carriage of paper boxes on flights to and from Bangladesh is prohibited.

Strollers for children

Strollers for small children are carried free of charge. The stroller must be checked in at the airport before going through security.

Children under 2 years are entitled to a standard hand luggage (55x40x20 cm) weighing 3 kg.
