EasyJet also operates this route, and we’ve written about them several times recently (they can offer slightly lower prices).

However, Eurowings has significantly better flight times. Flights operate every Saturday:

• Prague → Marrakesh
  • 11:50 -> 15:00
• Marrakesh -> Prague
  • 15:50 -> 21:00

easyJet’s return flights to Prague always depart at around 6.20 am.

A self-catering holiday in Morocco can be very affordable, yet still high-quality and luxurious.

A week’s stay in local accommodation with breakfast and an en-suite bathroom can be booked from around 227 eur for two people.

I, for one, was drawn to the highly rated Riad Issil, situated in a quiet area away from the busiest part of the historic centre, though you can walk there in 15 minutes.

Car hire is also cheap. Even if you were to hire a car for the whole week – which isn’t strictly necessary (Marrakech has good public transport and, what’s more, you can easily explore the centre on foot) – you’ll pay from 115 eur for 7 days.

If you’re travelling as a couple, hire a car for the whole week and stay in a local riad, you’ll pay around 185 eur per person for 7 nights, which I think is an absolute bargain.
