Câmara de Lobos

Camara de Lobos

Câmara de Lobos is a picturesque fishing town where Winston Churchill spent his holidays. You can find his statue in the harbour by the canvas.

To soak up the true atmosphere of the town, head here later in the afternoon, fishing boats are parked in the bay and fishermen play cards in the harbour. The idyllic atmosphere of the town is enhanced by the vineyards scattered along the steep hillsides, with winding paths weaving between them and offering beautiful views.
