You can fly to the popular destination of Mallorca cheaply from Vienna with Ryanair this autumn.

The cheapest dates are 17–22 October, i.e. from Saturday to Thursday, when you can get return direct flights for 38 eur. Other dates in October cost between 46 and 50 eur, whilst throughout November and early December you’ll find plenty of flights for 56 eur.

For the period 17–22 October, you’ll find lovely accommodation in Mallorca from 331 eur for two people. For example, the Caprice Sa Coma Park **** hotel with all-inclusive is a great deal at 620 eur for two people.

I can also add two accommodation tips that I’ve tried myself. The BG Tonga Design Hotel & Suites **** in Can Picafort is available at 537 eur for two people, including breakfast, and the Hipotels Mediterraneo Club **** in Sa Coma at 496 eur for two people, including breakfast.

I preferred the BG Tonga Design – it was quieter and, overall, I found the services there more to my liking. The Parc Natural de s’Albufera nature reserve is nearby, and you can also take the bus to Alcúdia, for example.

In my opinion, Hipotels Mediterraneo Club is particularly good for families with children, though the complex was a bit too big for my liking. However, it has a great location by the beach and the pretty seaside town of Porto Cristo is just a short distance away, where you’ll find Dinosaurland and the Hams Caves.
