Boston from Vienna with Aer Lingus
About this deal
The Irish airline Aer Lingus is offering return flights from Vienna to Boston for 338 eur. You’ll find the best dates in the autumn, particularly from October to December, and also during March.
You’ll have a stopover in Dublin, which has one major advantage. Aer Lingus uses the ‘Preclearance’ service at Dublin Airport, which involves going through US immigration checks before departing for the US.
During the roughly three-hour stopover, you’ll go through immigration checks whilst still in Ireland, meaning you can leave the airport upon arrival in Boston without any further waiting. Compared to a standard arrival in the US, this can easily save you two hours or more.
