The island of Saba lies in the Caribbean Sea in a tropical climate zone.
Temperatures are similar throughout the year, ranging between 25 °C in winter and 29 °C in summer.

The local microclimate on Saba is strongly influenced by the island's largest (and only) geographical landmark , Mount Scenery. While on the north side of the island around the local airport and the villages of Zion's Hill and partly Windwardside it is significantly sunnier, on the south side of the island above the village of The Bottom it is very often rainy and cloudy.
The top of the highest mountain is also often shrouded in clouds.

When to go to Saba
The high season on Saba is the same as in the entire northern Caribbean.
The best months to visit Saba are therefore January to April, with December, May and June also falling in the dry season. You just need to allow for more clouds and more humidity.
The dry season is good for hiking, when the trails are less slippery and muddy, but of course also for diving, when underwater visibility is at its highest.
