The small international airport of Årø is located on the shores of the Moldefjord about 5 km east of Molde city centre.
The airport is an ideal starting point for trips to the beautiful mountain lake Kjøvdalsvatnet, the valley lake Eikesdalsvatnet or the fjords Langfjorden, Tingvolfjorden and Romsdalsfjorden.
