Bogota El Dorado International Airport in a nutshell

El Dorado Airport, about 12 kilometres from the centre of Bogotá, is by far the largest in Colombia and one of the largest in Latin America.

Avianca has its main base here, as does the Colombian arm of LATAM and the smaller airlines Satena and Wingo.

Domestic traffic is predominant in Bogotá, but a wide range of routes also serve international destinations, mainly to the USA, Latin America and Europe.
