Mexico's Tulum Airport opened in 2023 and serves as a secondary gateway to the popular Riviera Maya on the Yucatán Peninsula.
The new terminal was built to relieve Cancún's main airport, CUN, 125 km away, which struggles with insufficient capacity on some days during peak season.
The nearest resort, Tulum, is 44 km from the airport.
Tulum is currently served by frequent domestic services, mainly from Mexico City, many scheduled services to the USA and Canada, as well as direct flights to Europe.
