Tulum Airport is currently served by one relatively large and modern terminal. The area is much clearer and much more pleasant than the larger Cancun CUN airport.

The terminal is spacious in both the public and transit areas and everything is well organised.

Queues for security check are usually 10-15 minutes and for passport control after arriving from abroad about 20-45 minutes.

Transfer between flights

Tulum is not primarily a transfer airport and therefore does not have direct transfer options through the transit zone.

If you plan to transfer at Tulum Airport on your own, you will always need to exit the transit zone, collect your luggage and check in again.
