Transportation from Tashkent Airport

Tashkent

Transport to the centre is provided by several bus lines of the regular public transport at symbolic prices.

If you want to use taxis, we recommend using the Yandex mobile app exclusively. For regular taxis, foreign visitors will very often encounter highly exorbitant prices.

City buses

Green city buses or small vans (marshrutka) run to the international and domestic terminals. The transport company has no relevant website.

You can find maps of the routes, their prices and indicative timetables, for example, at uz.easyway.info/tashkent.

Always pay the fare in cash inside the bus or van. You pay the conductor and, where there is no conductor, the driver. You usually pay when you get off the bus. The price is uniform and always valid for 1 ride.

  • Price per bus line - 2 000 uzs
  • Price for minibus line (marshrutka) - 3 000 uzs

Tips for hotels near the stations

Plan to stay conveniently near the bus stops in the direction of the airport.

  • Reikratz Sote Tashkent - A good quality hotel near Xalqlar Do'stligi metro station, where most bus routes from the airport go
  • Mir Luxe Plaza - quality hotel near the train station
  • Iso Hostel - very cheap hotel near the train station ideal for a quick overnight stay if you want to save as much money as possible

Taxi

Many taxi drivers will approach you at the airport as soon as you arrive. In Tashkent you don't go by the meter and only really experienced travellers can negotiate a price under 40 000 uzs to the city centre.

That's why we recommend using a taxi via the Yandex mobile app, where you always know the price in advance. Like the Uber or Bolt apps, the price is calculated according to the current demand.

Expect prices via Yandex between 20 000 uzs and 30 000 uzs.
