Internet and wi-fi
Free wifi is available through the "@AirportTrueFreeWiFi" network.
You need to fill in your name and email, but there is no need to verify, so feel free to make up all the details. Wifi always works for 1 hour, after that you need to log in again. This process can be repeated over and over again.

ATMs and money changers
Many currency exchange offices are located in the public area of the arrivals hall as well as in the baggage claim area. The exchange rates here aren't downright bad, but you can usually find better rates in town. All exchange offices at the airport always have the same exchange rate.
If you prefer a quicker ATM withdrawal, there are many ATMs at the airport from local Thai banks. The fee for foreign card withdrawals is always 220 thb. ATMs are therefore only worth using for larger withdrawals.
The ATMs are usually part of the currency exchange booths.
Luggage storage
Baggage storage is located in the arrivals hall of both the international and domestic terminals. It is located approximately 20 metres to the right after exiting the transit area. It is open 24/7.
The fee for storage for up to 24 hours is 100 thb.
Currently (second half of 2024) both baggage storage facilities are out of service. You can store your luggage for 100 thb for example at Louis' Runway View hotel about 6 minutes walk from the national and 10 minutes walk from the international terminal. Luggage storage is also available at this hotel for those not staying there.
Shops and supermarkets
After the security check, you can shop mainly at duty free shops and also come across fashion stores and many souvenir stalls.
There are also several mini-markets at the airport selling basic groceries.

Dining options
Phuket Airport is well-equipped with fast-food outlets, restaurants and cafes in both its terminals.
Restaurants can be found in both the public area and the transit area of both the international and domestic terminals.
Domestic terminal
You will find many local restaurants and budget eateries in the building. After security check, food court with Asian cuisine and cafes are available.
In the public area there are many restaurants on the 3rd floor (Subway, Burger King, Kebab, local cuisine).
Most of the restaurants have opening hours adapted to the flight traffic, i.e. from about 4:30 to 22:30.
International terminal
There is only one restaurant and 2 cafes in the public area, including a Starbucks (departure floor, open 24/7).
Local restaurants, eateries and international fast-food Burger King (24/7) are available after security check.
Drinking water
Fountains with cold drinking water, from which you can also fill your own bottle, can be found at all toilets in the public area and the area after security check.
Showers
There are no public showers available anywhere in Phuket Airport or, unfortunately, in the surrounding area.
Showers are not even available in the airport lounges for premium passengers.
