Hello, yes, you have to upload the ticket to the Navigo Easy card, which costs €2 to issue (you pay the full amount in the machine, i.e. €2 + €10.30 fare). However, you are free to load additional fares onto this card at all machines in Paris.
If your child is over 4 years old, they need their own ticket, i.e. Navigo Easy.
