Kilimanjaro Airport is located in northern Tanzania and serves the cities of Arusha (52 km) and Moshi (41 km).

It is one of Africa's major international airports due to the presence of many world-famous safaris and its proximity to Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, after which it is named.

Kilimanjaro Airport is served by several international routes to neighbouring countries, as well as long-haul routes to Europe and the Middle East. A small number of flights within Tanzania complete the schedule, including a service to Zanzibar.

Significantly busier domestic services are to small airports Arusha ARK in the city centre.
