Keflavik International Airport in a nutshell

Iceland - Aurora Borealis

The airport in the small village of Keflavík is the largest and only major international airport in Iceland, with flights from Europe and the USA. It is about 50 km from the capital Reykjavik and is often referred to as "Reykjavik International Airport" or "Reykjavik-Keflavík".

It serves as the main base for Icelandair and the low-cost PLAY Airline.

For domestic flights within Iceland, use the smaller Reykjavík RKV airport right in the centre of the capital.

Keflavík serves as an alternative transfer point between Europe and North America.
