Corvo Airport in a nutshell

On Corvo, the smallest island in the Azores, you'll find one of Europe's smallest airports with regular services.

The terminal building is more like a small family villa and there are only about 7-8 flights a week to the local airport. All flights are operated by SATA, with services to the neighbouring island of Flores (3 times a week, 10 minutes) and to the main Azores airport , Ponta Delgada PDL, with a stopover at Horta HOR (6 times a week).

Due to the short runway and often very windy weather, a higher percentage of cancellations than at the usual major airports must be expected. Particularly in winter, there may be periods when aircraft fail to land on Corvo for several days at a time.

For practical information about the whole island and how to get here by boat, see the Corvo guide.
