Internet and wi-fi

Unlimited free wi-fi is available throughout the airport. Connect to the "Airport FreeWifi Aena" network.

If you use an EU country sim card, you can call and use data in Spain at the same prices as in your home country.

Shops and supermarkets

You won't find a traditional supermarket at Alicante Airport. You can buy small groceries at the WHSmith mini-markets, which can be found in the following locations:

• Public area, Departures (level 2), 8:00–20:00
• Transit area, Departures 4:00–23:00
• Transit Area, Arrivals 8:00–22:00

After the security check, you can shop at the two duty free shops, as well as fashion and accessories stores (e.g. Victoria's Secret, Sunglass Hut, Max Mara or Desigual) or electronics (InMotion).

In the public area there are only small newsagents selling newspapers and drinks.

You can also use the pharmacy in the arrivals hall from 7:30-23:00.

Restaurant

The terminal is equipped with a wide selection of restaurants and snacks, especially behind security. You can also take advantage of fast-food outlets such as Buger King, Subway or Starbucks.

Baggage storage

You can store your luggage on the 2nd floor of the public area near the check-in desks. Luggage can only be stored between 09:00 and 15:00, but can be collected between 05:00 and 21:00.

ATMs and exchange offices

The exchange offices at the airport are operated by Global Exchange with very unfavourable rates.

Choose your money from ATMs located throughout the terminal. ATMs are operated by three banks at the airport:

• CaixaBank - withdrawal fee around 4 eur
• Euronet - withdrawal fee around 5 eur and a very unfavourable conversion rate for foreign currencies

Drinking water

Free cold drinking water fountains are available in the transit area of all terminals. They are usually located by the toilets.

Vending machines

Fast food is most easily solved by vending machines selling drinks, baguettes, sandwiches and sweets, which are located in abundance throughout the airport.

Vending machines accept cash and credit cards.

Baby corners and strollers

Across all terminals, keep your children entertained in the small play areas with swings or climbing frames.

All terminals also have free strollers available for hire after security checks.
