Phu Kradueng and Phu Ruea National Parks

Fauna and flora in perfect symbiosis offers peace of mind, as well as hiking a pleasant active relaxation for the body. How about a hike to the highest mountain in the area, Khok Moei (1,316 m above sea level)? Or cooling off at the 30-metre waterfall in Phu Ruea NP, also known for the coldest climate in Thailand. Various challenging treks offer views of the valley and the Mekong and Hueang rivers. Can you see as far as Laos?

Please note that the parks are closed during the rainy season and temperatures here can drop to zero in December and January.
