Costa del Sol in a nutshell

Puerto Banús Marbella

Spain's Sunny Coast, the Costa del Sol, is one of the most popular summer holiday destinations in Europe. Miles of beaches alternate between modern resorts and historic towns, with several mountain ranges ideal for hiking in the background.

Where are the cheapest resorts?

The Costa del Sol is an unofficial region in southern Andalusia and so its boundaries cannot be precisely defined.

However, the Costa del Sol is generally considered to be the strip of resorts from La Línea de la Concepción through Marbella and Málaga to the town of Nerja. The Costa del Sol is linked to the Costa de la Luz to the west and the Costa Tropical to the east.
