Molja fyr

Molja Fyr

Molja Lighthouse stands on a stone pier at the northern entrance to the Ålesundet Channel and is a popular destination for walks around the city.

Built in the late 19th century, the red lighthouse is now fully automated, but the regular red and green flashes still guide ships into Ålesund harbour.

Unique hotel room

The Molja Lighthouse is not only a destination for strolling, but inside it you can stay in an original hotel room!

Only one room can fit inside the lighthouse, so if you would like to stay overnight in the lighthouse, we recommend making a reservation at least 2-3 months before your trip.

The hotel room belongs to the luxury hotel Brosundet ****.

Booking directly into a room at the lighthouse is usually not possible through portals like booking.com, but only through the official hotel website: brosundet.no/en.
