Cacao Beach

Cacao Beach

Cacao Beach is the part between the main beach and the northern beach in Nessebar.

This stretch of coastline is mostly out of town, surrounded by just a few upscale bars and pretty grass-covered sand dunes.

Cacao Beach is the quietest beach within the Sunny Beach and Nessebar resorts and has the most natural character.

Beach facilities

Although the beach lies outside the town centre, you will find a variety of facilities here too.

The entrance to the water is very gradual and safe with fine sand without stones. The shallow water is still about 100 metres from the shore and the beach is ideal for families with small children.

Sun loungers and umbrellas

Sunbeds and parasols are available along the entire length of the beach and can be rented for 10 bgn / piece / day. So for a set of two sunbeds and a parasol you pay 30 bgn.

There are always plenty of sunbeds available, even in high season. Just take any available sun lounger and the staff will look for you. Payment is in cash only.

The staff is present from 8:00 to 18:00, but the sun loungers remain free to use all night from 18:00 to 8:00.

Free sectors

Compared to the main beach, there are considerably more rent-free sectors where you can set up your own equipment or just sunbathe without having to pay a fee.

Toilets and showers

There are no public toilets on the beach, but you can use the toilets in the restaurants, some of which provide them even if you don't order anything from the restaurant.

Freshwater showers are not usually available, especially as most hotels are within a 10-minute walk of the beach.

Restaurants and shops

Throughout you'll find mostly more expensive bistros, restaurants or bars right on the beach.

More shops and restaurants on the town centre promenade are about a 15-minute walk away.

Hotels by the beach

We recommend staying near Cacao Beach if you're looking for a quieter location.
