Bus 199

The airport is served by the only bus line 199 "Verona AirLink". Official information can be found at: atv.verona.it

Modern buses run non-stop to Verona Porta Nuova main train station, where you can change to long-distance trains and other city lines towards the centre (numbers 11, 12, 13, 51, 52, or 90, 92, 94, 98 late in the evening and on Sundays).

Tickets

Fares on the airport line 199 are higher than on other city lines and cost 7 eur. The ticket is valid for 75 minutes and within this time you can change to other public transport lines around Verona.

There are several ways to buy a ticket:

  • From the driver (by card or cash).
  • Via the ATV mobile app
  • From a vending machine at the bus stop in front of the train station (there is no vending machine at the airport)

Day tickets for 5 eur or tickets for 1,50 eur are not valid on the Airport 199 Airlink.

Timetable

The Verona Airlink bus runs every day with a frequency of 20 minutes.

The journey to Porta Nuova station takes approximately 15 minutes.

  • First bus from the centre - 5:15
  • Last bus from the airport - 23:10

Car rental

Is Verona Airport just a gateway to the Alps or Lake Garda? Then it's ideal to rent a car directly at the terminal.

There are many local and international car rental companies operating here, with normal prices around 50 eur per day.

Train

Although there's no train service to the airport, the rail company Trenitalia works with Verona AirLink, the carrier of the 199 bus line.

You can therefore buy a single train ticket via trenitalia.com, which is also valid for the aforementioned bus service from Porta Nuova station to the airport.
