Transportation from Uzhhorod Airport

Uzhgorod Cathedral

Shuttle number 4 passes directly in front of the airport, but only once every 60 minutes. It's worth heading right from the airport along the main road and turning left at the first major junction, where you'll come across a bus stop practically right on the corner. The following lines pass through here:

  • Shuttle 58: runs through the western part of the city centre directly to the bus and train stations, with an interval of 7 to 15 minutes and runs from 6:45 to 22:30,
  • Shuttle number 6: goes to Ploščad Korjatović on the northern edge of the centre, once every 20 minutes,
  • Shuttle number 8: goes to the western part of Uzhhorod, away from tourist destinations,
  • Shuttle number 26: goes to the east of the city and can be used to get to the centre, which it bypasses from the north,
  • Shuttle number 27: goes outside tourist destinations,
  • Classic bus number 18: circles the entire historic centre with an interval of 8 to 15 minutes and operating hours from 6:30 to 22:00.

On all routes there is a uniform price 5 uah per ride. Payment is always made to the driver upon boarding, ideally in as exact a value as possible.

Taxis from the centre to the airport cost about 50 uah, on the way from the airport to the centre the first taxis stop at the aforementioned junction from which public transport runs.
