Tashkent Islam Karimov Airport is located 6 km from the centre of the Uzbek capital and is the largest international airport in the country.

Local airline Uzbekistan Airways is based here and handles most of the traffic. The private Uzbek airline Qanot Sharq is also based here.

Airlines from neighbouring Asian countries and Turkey fly to Tashkent more widely.

Flights to Tashkent come from virtually all over the world. Uzbekistan Airways operates direct flights to Europe, New York, Thailand, China, Korea and the Gulf countries. Domestic routes are also numerous.

Among foreign airlines, you can buy tickets to Tashkent with Wizz Air, Air Arabia (both Abu Dhabi), LOT (Warsaw), Flydubai (Dubai), Qatar Airways (Doha) and many others.
