Hotels and sleeping at New Delhi Airport

New Delhi

Find the best pre-flight or post-arrival accommodation near Delhi Airport.

While searching on various portals, pay attention to the actual location of the accommodation. Many hotel maps on portals such as booking.com or agoda.com do not correctly show hotels right by the terminals, when in fact some accommodations are more than 5 km from the airport.

Below we list the hotels that are actually located right next to Delhi airport.

Hotels in the terminal

If you have a long international transfer in Delhi and don't want to arrange an Indian visa, use the services of the transit hotel Holiday Inn Express Terminal 3 ****. It is located just inside the transit area of Terminal 3 near departure gate 15.

Hotels in AeroCity

Close to the airport you will find the man-made town of Aerocity, which is also home to a metro station of the same name on the airport express line.

Aerocity is mostly home to large hotels of multinational corporations. Some hotels offer private transfers to the terminals at prices from 500 inr to 1 000 inr.

It is considerably cheaper to get from AeroCity to Terminals 2/3 by metro (20 inr) and to Terminal 1 by special shuttle bus (40 inr). From the station to the hotels, it's a 5-10 minute walk through a modern, clean neighborhood.

  • Travel time by metro to terminals 2/3 - 5 minutes
  • Travel time by bus to Terminal 1 - 10 minutes

We list hotels from cheapest (from 80 eur to most expensive from 250 eur per night).

Cheap hotels nearby

Very cheap, but of questionable quality, are the hotels in the adjacent Mahipalpur district, which is across the main road from Aerocity.

You have to count on typically Indian services. Nice and clean rooms on the surface, but details like leaking hot water, mould in the showers or dirty linen are the order of the day. On the other hand, for a room here you will pay from about 15 eur per night.
