Montpellier Airport uses 1 terminal for all departures. The split between Schengen and non-Schengen flights is only after a common security check.

The airport area is very small and uncluttered and there are no long queues for security checks. You will usually wait a maximum of 10 minutes and walk 1-3 minutes from security to the aircraft.

Transfer between flights

Montpellier is not a major hub and airlines do not offer guaranteed transfers here.

This is also why the terminal does not have a direct transit option. You always have to go outside, check in again and go through security.

Overnight in the terminal - opening hours

The terminal always closes approximately 30 minutes after the last arrival and opens approximately 2.5 hours before the first morning departure.

It is therefore not possible to stay overnight at the airport.

For a comfortable overnight stay before the morning departure, we recommend using the two hotels nearby:
