The fast-growing new resort of Marsa Matrouh in northern Egypt has its own international airport. Its terminal is very small and may well be the smallest you'll ever visit. You'll walk no more than 70 metres from the plane to the exit of the airport building.

The advantage is obvious: it is very easy to find your way around, it is impossible to get lost in this airport. On the other hand, the disadvantage is that the services at the airport are very limited.
