Luqa Malta International Airport in a nutshell

Malta

Malta 's only airport is located in Luqa, about 9 km from the centre of the capital Valletta. Despite the titular size of the State of Malta, the local airport is a relatively important transport point for the entire southern Mediterranean.

The national airline Air Malta has its base here, as does Ryanair, both of which operate a large number of flights to the whole of Europe, as do many other companies.

Tickets from Asia or Australia with a stopover in Dubai can also be purchased on the website emirates.com.
